2026An LED display system for the meeting rooms at the Tesla plant in Brandenburg: ESP32-S3 with a master/client architecture, HUB75 panels and a Flutter app.
We developed an LED display system for the meeting rooms at the Tesla plant in Brandenburg. It replaces an existing Raspberry Pi based setup with a reliable, low-maintenance system.
- Master/client architecture: an ESP32-S3 server controls several display clients wirelessly via ESP-NOW
- HUB75 panels: three RGB LED modules of 32 × 64 pixels each, daisy-chained into a 192 × 32 pixel matrix
- Flutter app for iOS and Android, controlled via Bluetooth Low Energy
- Web portal via its own Wi-Fi access point, for configuration without the app
- Dual core with FreeRTOS: display rendering on core 1, networking on core 0
- Modes: counter, countdown, zone status, free text
- Settings are stored in NVS, factory reset via the boot button
Hardware: Adafruit MatrixPortal S3, Protomatter driver, NimBLE for BLE.

2026We reworked the wayfinding system at the ALEXA Berlin shopping centre on Alexanderplatz: a refit of the existing pylons, centre maps for every floor and new cladding. The system is in operation and is being extended step by step.

2026We reworked the wayfinding system at the ALEXA Berlin shopping centre on Alexanderplatz: a refit of the existing pylons, centre maps for every floor and new cladding. The system is in operation and is being extended step by step.
For the ALEXA Berlin shopping centre on Alexanderplatz, we completely reworked the wayfinding system.
- Existing pylons: the current pylons (yellow, backlit) stay in place and receive new cladding.
- Centre maps: all four floors (-1 to 2) as high-resolution site plans with tenant logos and pictograms for the U-Bahn, entrances, toilets and lifts
- New cladding: IFP5550 display in a gold-coloured aluminium frame, engineered in Fusion 360
- Maps created in Adobe Illustrator as the source format, photorealistic renderings for sign-off in advance

At the ALEXA Berlin shopping centre on Alexanderplatz, we installed a total of four indoor LED walls.
- Ceiling: pixel pitch P6, suspended structure above the atrium, with structural engineering and fire safety
- ALEXA logo: P4, 5 × 3 m, in a central spot in the centre
- Two walls by the escalators: P4, 4 × 1.8 m each, for advertising right in the main visitor flow
We delivered everything from a single source: LED walls, made-to-measure mounting, commissioning and content pipeline. The walls are suited to advertising, live content and video mapping.
